City Sights Tours
You will be picked up from your accommodation and if the weather is clear enough we could take you to the top of Mount Cargill (676 metres) for an overview of our City. Alternatively we could go to the lookout at Signal Hill.
Then we can take in various points of interest such as the Botanic Garden and the University of Otago - the first established in New Zealand. The splendid original building is still in use today.
We take you to Baldwin Street - the Steepest Street in the world - worth the thrill.
We will help you chose which of these special places you can comfortably manage during your time with us.

Happy group in the city centre
Olveston is the former home of the Theomin Family. It was bequeathed to the city and guided tours show you through this magnificent home with all the artefacts collected by the family 100 years ago from their travels around the world.
Speight's Brewery, founded in 1876 is a 'must do'. A guided tour takes you through this unique, gravity operated, working brewery to hear its history and then you get to taste the famous product - 'Pride of the South'.
Cadbury's Chocolate Factory Tour is a must for all 'Chocoholics'. Lots of free samples to drool for.

Arthur's Tours at Larnach Castle
Larnach Castle - New Zealand's only 'Castle' stands proud and grand on the Peninsular. We will guide you through and tell you the stories of it's rise and fall and now superb restoration. The garden of this special place is a 'Garden of International Significance' and the only one in the South Island.
Chinese Garden - our newest attraction - one of only three authentic Chinese gardens in the world outside China, is a place of wonder and tranquillity. It has been built in the traditional way without nails by artisans who came especially from China. They even brought the rocks with them!
Our City Sights Tour includes the Railway Station, built in the Flemish Style, the most photographed building in New Zealand, and First Church of Otago, St Paul's Cathedral, the Town Hall and Clock Tower, St. Joseph's Cathedral, Otago Boys High School, Otago Girls High School and much more .
Otago Museum boasts a new Tropical Rain Forest with countless exotic butterflies and jewelled geckos from Madagascar to amaze you.

Enjoying the view at Dunedin Chinese Garden
